On Safari

We went to the Gentry Safari on Saturday. It was so much fun! You drive around the zoo and you can see Baboons, Emus, Ostrich, Antelope, Prairie Dogs, Capucine Monkeys , Lions, Tigers,Bears and more. There is a petting zoo too. You could pet the Kangaroos, goats, Lemurs, Bunnies and even a baby Cougar! Jeremy wasn't scared to pet any of the animals. The Emu's scared him a lot. Those are really big birds, they are only a little smaller than Ostrich. They came right up to the car hoping that we would feed them. Jeremy's favorite animal was a bunny that he held. Mom held one too.

Later we hung out at home and Jacob played happily in his Bumbo. He and Naomi are 8 months old now. They are getting big...and starting to get around. It was Father's Day on Sunday. Jeremy went to the store an picked out Daddy's presents. He picked a swiss army knife, a boomerang toy that shoots foam airplanes, a clapper, and a bag of dum-dum pops. It was fun to watch Dad open his presents. Mom bought him some frames and put in pictures of us. They are for Dad's office. We had a fun weekend... Next weekend we are going to the cabin on the Lake. I bet that'll be lots of fun too. Then on Monday Grandpa and Grandma are coming to visit from Colorado! We haven't seen them for 6 months! We can't wait!
